Do you strip models?

No, we do not provide this service.

My models are built and undercoated already, is this a problem?

Not necessarily, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee if we need to spend time removing mould-lines or making repairs. If the undercoat has been excessively applied we may refuse the commission or recommend a replacement.

Can you paint my 3D printed models?

Yes we can. We will not print or paint any models that clearly violate the IP of another companies properties (custom shoulder pads and weapons are ok but a “proxy” space marine squad would violate this).

Can you provide the models?

Yes we can, we can help you source your miniatures though these will be charged in addition to the deposit at the start of the project.

Can I add more to the army as it’s being done?

Yes you can, we keep full guides of our projects if we need to recreate the colour scheme for repeat business from you.

Is there anything you won’t paint?

We will not paint anything that could be considered offensive or discriminatory (outside the game setting).

How long will the commission take?

This will depend on how busy the studio is at any one time, how big your project is and the amount of work required. You will be sent updates along the way.

How large a commission will you take on?

As big as you like! Our first studio commission was a 10,000 point Chaos Army but we also do single figures, warbands and everything in between.

Do you do discounts/deals?

Sometimes, these will be advertised on our Social Media pages.

What happens to completed projects that are not paid for?

Once the project is finished an invoice will be sent for final payment. If no contact is made by 3 months we reserve the right to sell the commission to recoup costs.

Do you sell armies?

We sometimes sell our personal projects which can be found on the AFK Gaming website.
